The Target Calculator helps you plan your fitness assessment by letting you solve for a specific component's target or calculate your projected overall score.
How to Use:
- Fill out your **Profile** (Age, Sex, and Height) first, as standards are customized to your demographic group.
- Choose which value you want to **Solve For** by selecting its radio button. You can select either one of the physical components (WHtR, Cardio, Upper Body, Core) or the Overall Score itself.
- Enter your values for the remaining components to calculate the result.
Common Scenarios:
Scenario 1: Find Required Run Time for a Target Score
If you want to score a **90** overall, and know your push-ups, sit-ups, and waist size:
• Select **"Solve For"** on the **Cardio** card.
• Enter **90** in the Target Overall Score field.
• Enter your expected push-ups, sit-ups, and waist size.
• The Cardio card will show the exact run time (or HAMR count) you need to hit that 90.
Scenario 2: Solve for Overall Score (Projected Score)
If you want to know what your score will be with a given set of reps and times:
• Select **"Solve For"** next to **Target Overall Score** at the top.
• Enter your waist size, expected run time, push-ups, and sit-ups.
• The top circle will display your calculated overall score in real-time.
• Tip: If you know your current baseline but want to see how many more shuttles, push-ups, or sit-ups are needed to reach a desired score, you can incrementally adjust your reps or times in the cards until the projected overall score hits your target.
Scenario 3: Handling Exemptions
If you are medically exempt from a component (e.g. Cardio):
• Check the **"Exempt"** box on that component's card.
• The system automatically scales the remaining non-exempt components to calculate your targets or final score.
